I want to put Xenon headlights on but dont know if any newer Acuras have lights that would fit a 1997 Acura 3.0CL. I do not want to add a conversion kit or anything. I simply want to switch out the Xenon healight bulbs. Would that work?

Yes. Many people have retrofitted HID parts into non-hid headlights. You will need to get the HID ballasts and HID light bulbs and 99% of the time you will need to modify your current headlamps because it will not just all bolt on. If you’re really handy, you can put honda s2k or tsx projectors into your lights like some people do, but that takes money and skill.
Edit: sounds like all you wanna do is change out the lightbulbs and get an HID effect. sorry that simply can’t be done, you cant run hid bulbs without ballasts because there would be nothing to amplify the light output.
