I have heard you can get an adapter to turn the three pin to a standard 9 pin OBD II but what equipment will I need other than that, will a handheld tester do the job or do I need special software for my laptop. Its a 1.6TS with the plastic top engine.

I can’t get a tether hook fitted because I need the original one and it wasnt with the car when I bought it.

And do alfa’s in general hold there value?
