Since Alfa’s are not sold in America, what procedures would i need to go through to get one shipped here?

And if i wanted to drive it around America, what would i have to do to make it legal?

I know it would have to go through customs and be modified to meet the DOT standards. Would this be possible for under 10 grand? Has it ever been done?
