Is that what the star and the CC mean? And if it does have that does that mean the chrysler corp actually manufactured that part or does chrysler have other companies that manufacture some of their parts?

Sorry to inform you, but it would almost be impossible to tell the difference. Since Mr Daimler bought the Corporation 6 years ago, the parts of Chrysler have been made all over the world. And for the most part, not many of them are the same.
I would only buy from part stores or dealership. You never know if your getting some Korea special from E-bay.
