I don’t have a trade in, but I heard that Chrysler Dodge Jeep is doing something with up to $4500 for people that don’t have anything to trade in. Does anyone know what your credit has to be like to participate in this program? Thanks!

It was my understanding the “Customer Cash” was dependent on having a qualifying CARS vehicle. I haven’t actually read anywhere that it’s independent — although it could just be marketing to capitalize on the CARS program.

In any event, I don’t recall ever hearing about customers *not* getting rebate incentives due to credit rating… Sure, not getting low-interest APR, but again, never heard this for rebates.

Best Bet — Call the dealer.

Anyone can qualify for the $4500 rebate on some models, regardless of credit.
However, if you don’t have at least average credit (680+), you are going to find it difficult to get any auto loan without a co-signer.
