Go to any muffler place like Midas or even Sears they have the correct shocks. And they are not air shocks like some dummy said on here. The head light doors operate by vacuum if there is no vacuum they automatically open it takes vacuum to make them close. probably need some of the lines changed if the car is all original under the hood and no one has started to alter things around it should still produce good vacuum which is all you need to make them close.
