I recently looked at a new Chrysler Sebring, and the dealer told me that the warranty was 3/36, thats it. I checked and everybody else has better warranties, even pathetic GM now has 5/100k powertrain warranty. No wonder Chrysler sales are in the toilet.

Just bought a 2003 Saab 9 3 yesterday. Love the car, but it is about to hit the original warranty of 50,000 miles. Should I buy an extended warranty for this car? I know nothing about the car other than it was a leased vehicle previously. If a warranty is recommended, any ideas on the best company to go with?

I keep looking at the news trying to find out what exactly is going on with the brand. I have an 2007 9-3 and have been really satisfied my car. My family has had Lexuses, Cadillacs, BMW’s and Audis and I feel my Saab has been comparable in ways to them.

Worst-case scenario, the company’s reorganization fails and ultimately is phased out like Pontiac, what will happen to my current warranty? Am I better off just selling my car now?

I bought a BMW from a private seller and it is under pre-owned waranty until 2009. Can i service it outside a BMW dealership and still keep my pre-owned warranty. Reasons – Cheaper and easy to find service appointments.

If a Volvo is still under its warranty, could one service it or get its oil changed, etc, somewhere other than the dealership without voiding the warranty? Just wanted to know. Thanks!
